This website is dedicated to the Japanphotography by Leo van der Kleij, photographer and visual artist. Since 1997 I’m visiting Japan once or twice a year, in order to do commission jobs, to make exhibitions or to collaborate with other photographers and artists on numerous projects.

Recently I stayed in Japan for one month (September 2011) to work on the photoproject ‘Paradise/Parasite’, as well as on the preparation of my ‘JapanFoodDrinks’ exhibition for the Sieboldhuis Leiden (NL) in 2013. In the artprints section you can find a series of pictures I took during my last night in Tokyo, at the zenpussybar in Nishi Ogikubo. Jetlinda, a travestite musician/performer is subject of this series. I hope you\'ll enjoy it as much as I did!
